WHY A STRONG PARK SYSTEM IS IMPORTANT TO MORGAN CO.

Morgan County is one of the most rapidly growing counties in Indiana. With that growth comes increased demands placed on our current recreational lands that exceed their planned use capacity.
A strong recreational park system enhances Morgan County quality of life standard. If quality of life is high, the population is healthier, more culturally enriched and more vested in the overall strengthening of its communities. Strong, vibrant communities encourage population retention and ultimately become an important catalyst for greater economic development.
